► While dozing through day, sees images. ► Loquacious delirium, brilliant eyes, circumscribed red cheeks. ► Loquacity, afterwards stupid and irritable. ► Became excited over a trifle. ► Restless while perspiring.

► Giddy, with sensation of heat in chest and around the heart. ► Dizzy, with sweat and boiling, bubbling in chest and region of heart.

► Tearing in forehead, from left to right side. ► Pain in forehead, with general heat, alternating with crampy pain in chest ; at last tearing in nose and shoulders. ► Tearing in the temples. ► Head feels enlarged and as if split open with a wedge from outside inward ; body icy-cold, skin moist and sticky ; cannot get warm even under a feather bed, face yellow ; whines with the pain ; head burns like fire, with much thirst. ► Vertex feels enlarged and extended upward. ► Tearing in the vertex. ► Headache until 10 A.M. ► Headache pressing in eye outward. ► Head feels heavy. ► Headache worse toward noon, she becomes more giddy ; in the evening, pricking headache.

► Draws skin of forehead upward, worse left side. ► Sensation as if hair was standing on end, worse on occiput. ► Scalp very painful even to touch. ► Red pimples on forehead, become larger and suppurate.

► Almost complete deafness, etc., during acute disease. ► Singing in right ear when walking in open air. ► Tearing in the ears. ► Crawling in right ear while eating. ► Crawling in left ear, better boring with finger, but immediately returning and feeling as if something had closed the ear. ► Itching in left ear and soreness in right.

► Burning on right side of root of nose. ► Nose bleeds profusely, blood pale.

► Yellow face. ► Circumscribed red face, 1 to 8 A.M., violent delirium, eyes brilliant. θ Pneumonia. ► Redness of the face. ► Face swollen, with redness and blueness under the eyes. ► Pale, sickly countenance ; face and lips light blue ; eyes dull, feel thick and cold. ► Tearing in temples down into cheeks. ► Tearing, pressing in left cheek toward eyes. ► Sensation as if something was crawling over face.

► Lips red. ► Swelling and tension of the lips.

► Upper incisors and eye-teeth feel as if loose with sensation of soreness, worse when touching with the tongue and closing teeth. ► Teeth ache after eating.

► Sensation as if mouth, were sore and thick.

► Great dryness of the throat, worse on awaking during the night, with much coughing. ► Roughness of the throat, with picking pain when swallowing ; continually increasing dryness of throat, with sleeplessness, followed by hoarseness. ► Sensation of swelling in left side of throat ; when he swallows he feels an itching in the spot.

► Much thirst. ► Aversion to meat.

► Drinking coffee, pain in all the teeth. ► After eating : teeth pain. ► Frontal headache better after supper.

► Hiccough in bed. ► Rising of sweetish water, with nausea. ► Sudden qualmishness in stomach. ► Qualmish about navel, when walking in open air.

► Full feeling in the stomach. ► Rolling of wind in stomach. ► Beating, in pit of stomach, as from a pulse, as if a hammer was beating on an ulcerated spot.

► Cutting upper part of abdomen from left to right. ► Twirling and twisting in upper part of abdomen, two inches above navel. ► Fermentation and rumbling. ► Much flatulency in abdomen during pneumonia nervosa. ► Sensation of heat through the abdomen, feels as if the bowels would be moved ; an evacuation relieves head.

► Frequent desire to evacuate without result. ► Evacuation, with much flatulency and pressing. ► Continuous stitch in the anus ; morning.

► Pressing on the bladder when urinating. ► During the night some drops flow from the urethra, coloring the shirt red.

► Violent burning in left half of scrotum, drawing toward the right side. ► Tingling and itching of and around scrotum. ► Sweat and itching of scrotum and penis.

► Menses : early, profuse bright-red ; or mixed, viscid blood and mucus ; sense of swelling of abdomen, if feels as if it was boiling.

► Hoarseness. ► Burning in right side of larynx.

► Feels hot and oppressed in the chest, with mild sweat all over ; dizzy.

► Dry, as from the larynx ; sputa blood-streaked. θ Pneumonia. ► Cough worse in bed, also from sleeping.

► Stitches like knives in quick succession, in right side of chest below mamma while at rest and when moving, in afternoon. ► Severe pain in chest with the cough, delirium, circumscribed red cheeks, fever 1 to 2 A.M. θ Typhoid pneumonia. ► Stitches in left side of chest. ► Full feeling in chest, must inhale deeply.

► Stitches in heart, with anxiety. ► Feels hot in chest and around heart. ► Boiling and bubbling in chest and cardiac region. ► While lying, feels beating of heart to his head. ► Trembling of heart, with greet debility. ► Pulse 110, small, thin, hard. θ Pneumonia.

► Pain and stiffness in neck, going over whole head and down the nose, then as if pinching nostrils together. ► When turning neck or bending head backward, pain in nape as if from dislocation. ► Stiff neck, head drawn, to one side. θ Diphtheria, scarlatina. ► Sensation as if a piece of ice was lying on the back between the shoulders, followed by a chill, with goose-flesh all over. ► Burning in region of left kidney, deep, extending towards right side. ► Burning in spine four inches above small of back. ► Burning in os sacrum, 4 P.M.

► Tearing in upper part of arm, beginning at elbow-joint, where it pains most up into the shoulder. ► Tearing in elbow-joints at times upwards and then downwards. ► Tearing in knuckles of middle fingers of right hand. ► Left index-finger drawn crooked.

► Small pimples around left gluteus, discharging a watery fluid when scratched open. ► Tearing in left knee ; when walking. ► Tearing in right tibia. ► Tearing from knees to ankles. ► Cramps in calves when lying in bed. ► Tearing in right big toe, awakening from sleep. ► Cramps in feet during the night. ► Burning in the feet.

► Tearing pains. ► Burning of palms of hands and soles of feet.

► Sensation of great weakness, as from loss of fluids.

► Somnolency, during day, sees images. ► Sleepiness, with yawning, eyes feel so heavy she cannot keep them open. ► Sleepless, feverish circumscribed red cheeks. ► Sleepless, with increasing dryness of throat. ► Wakeful at night without feeling weak. ► Restless sleep followed by sweat. ► Feverish, distressing dreams (following cramp in left foot during night). ► Awakens : 2 A.M. with cramp in her breast extending from right to left ; after awaking and stretching ; a shock followed by chilliness and goose-flesh all over.

► Open air : 6, 16.

► Body icy-cold. ► Hot flat-irons relieve the coldness. ► Flushes alternately, with chilliness. ► Evening fever, worse 6 to 12 P.M. ; face red, worse upper part. ► Dry heat, feet burn ; restless tossing, with much rumbling in abdomen. ► Burning heat, face red, worse on right side ; followed by circumscribed redness of the cheeks, also worse right side. ► Feverish, with somnolency. ► General heat, with sweat on the forehead. ► Fever with delirium, red cheeks, eyes brilliant ; worse 1 to 2 A.M. ► Sweat with dizziness. ► Sweat after 12 P.M., after a restless sleep. ► Skin cold, damp and clammy. ► Morning sweat.

► Twitchings of muscles here and there. ► Tearing pains. ► Tingling. ► Burning in various parts.

► Hemorrhages.

► Touch : 4. Boring with finger : 6.

► Itches, burns all night, worse after scratching. ► Red pimples. ► Sensation in skin, as if an eruption would appear.
