► Says one thing for another when speaking. ► Thoughts seem to stand still. ► Sadness ; despondent in forenoon lively in afternoon. ► Anxious and apprehensive feeling at pit of stomach, with oppression of breath and palpitation. ► Makes mistakes in writing.

► Vertigo ; when standing, with swimming of the head ; when walking with tendency to fall sideways. ► Rush of blood to the head, causing heat and flushes. ► Violent throbbing, with heat of the head, and fever.

► The forehead feels compressed, from the margins of the orbits to the temples ; not relieved by bending forward. ► Pressure below the frontal eminence, extending deep through the brain to the occiput. ► Pressure in the temples.

► Sensation as if drops of cold water were falling on the head. ► Crawling in the scalp.

► Alternating dilatation and contraction of the pupils in the same light. ► Sensation of spasmodic drawing, in the eyes. ► Pressure from back of the eyes, forwards.

► Ringing in the ears. ► Throbbing in the ears.

► Dryness of nose. ► Stupefying pressure, like from a blunt point on the root of nose. ► Bleeding of nose. ► Large pimples on the nose, surrounded by red swelling.

► Face pale. ► Left cheek red, but not hot ; right one pale ; pain in a tooth, right side. ► Slight pulsations in various portions of the face, particularly in the left buccinator.

► Numbing, compressing pain in left side of chin, affects the teeth of the same side.

► Pain in hollow teeth.

► Loss of taste. ► Difficult speech, at times stuttering.

► Dryness of the mouth, throat and lips.

► Burning dryness of the palate, mornings. ► Dryness of the throat.

► Eructations ; of air ; of bitter, acrid fluid.

► Cramp in the stomach. ► Uninterrupted dull stitches, near pit of stomach, just below ribs.

► Dull stitching in the left side, just below the ribs, when breathing or not.

► Intestines feel as if bruised. ► Painful jerks in the abdomen, moving from place to place as if something living were in it. ► Pain and pressing outwards in the abdominal ring, as if the parts would suppurate.

► Pressure in the rectum and sacral region, as if the intestines were sinking down and would be pressed out, while sitting. ► Obstinate constipation ; sometimes causing retention of urine. ► Constrictive pains in anus, together with a sensation as if thighs were drawn together, she was obliged to close them.

► Soreness, and inflammation of kidneys and bladder. ► Drawing pain from region of kidneys to inguinal glands with anxious, nauseous sensation in pit of stomach. ► Long standing dysuria. ► Strangury. In typhoid fever. ► Burning, smarting in urethra, from meatus back wards ; posteriorly stitching while urinating. ► Urethra feels inflamed and sore to the touch, along its whole length ; during erections tensive pain. ► Painless discharge of mucus, more or less profuse. ► Burning while urinating, but especially just after. ► Burning along the urethra, at commencement and at end of urinating. ► When not urinating, burning pain in forepart of urethra, which compels him to urinate almost constantly. ► Pressure as if to urinate, specially in the forepart of the urethra, when not urinating. ► Tearing along the urethra in a zigzag direction. ► Jerking stitches in posterior portion of urethra, when standing. ► Stream of urine forked. ► Urine : white turbid ; or red and turbid.

► Increased sexual desire. ► Impotence from sexual abuse. ► Frequent erections, followed by stitches in the urethra. ► Penis swollen, without marked erections. ► Penis painful, as if sore or burnt, when walking. ► Burning-stinging of penis. ► Piercing pains in penis. ► Pressive-dragging sensation in the testicles, when standing. ► Great swelling of the prepuce, approaching phimosis. ► Dark redness of glands and prepuce. ► Light red, lentil-sized spots on the glans.

► Increased sexual desire particularly in sterile women. ► Too profuse menses with dysuria.

► Threatened abortion in gonorrhoeic patients or occurring from to frequent sexual intercourse.

► In morning, tough mucus in lower portion of trachea, cannot be dislodged by coughing and hawking ; after hawking and coughing, trachea feels raw and sore ; finally, the mucus loosens of itself, and he must hawk it up frequently.

► Oppression of breathing, from tensive from tensive pressive pains in the middle of the sternum, which was also sore to touch ; sleepiness. ► Obliged to breathe deeply ; chest oppressed ; sensation of apprehension in the throat. ► Dyspnoea and extreme agitations ; must sit most of the time. ► Wheezing and mucous rales.

► Hacking cough, arises from the pit of the throat, with a cool, salty fluid deep in throat, posteriorly. ► Cough, with a green, viscid expectoration.

► Drawing in the neck, extending upwards. ► Pain in small of back.

► Rending pressure on shoulder, in attacks. ► Coldness and cold feeling of the hands. ► Formication and numb feeling in tips of the fingers. ► Sudden lameness of the hand, trembling of the hand when attempting to clasp anything.

► Cramp-like jerking ; digging pain in right hip. ► Drawing pain in the feet.

► Weariness of the limbs. ► Neuralgic pains in the limbs.

► Walking : 2, 22. Moving : 29. Standing : 2, 21, 22. Stooping : 29. Bending forward : 3. Sitting : 20. Must sit : 26.

► Sleepiness. ► Uneasy sleep at night. ► Dreams disagreeable and frightful ; disappointed in everything and is filled with anxiety. ► Awoke at night from slumber, with frightful dreams, not knowing where he was. ► Vivid, lascivious dreams after midnight.

► Morning : 13, 25. Forenoon : 1. Afternoon : 1. Night : 37, 40, 43.

► Worse from warm covering ; better when uncovered : 43.

► Chill, with thirst and shaking. ► Shivering over the whole body. ► External coldness of whole body, with exception of face. ► Heat only in the face but slight. ► Nightly burning heat. ► Sweat wanting ; or, only on forehead and neck, at night.

► Unendurable fine stitching over the whole body, as from a thousand needle-points, at night, when sweating from warm covering, better when uncovering. ► Feels as if hot water were poured over him. ► Sensation as if drops of cold water were falling : on the head ; from the anus ; from the heart.

► Touch : 21, 26, 46.

► Itching pimples. ► Vesicles on head and chest filled with serum and surrounded by red areola ; burn when touched.

► Antidotes to Cann. sat., of large doses : lemon juice ; of small doses : Camphor.
