CARDUUS MARIANUS. [Card. mar.] St. Mary's Thistle. Compositae.
Hypochondria
► Jaundice ; hepatic region painful to pressure ; feeling of fulness in right hypochondrium. ► From hyperaemia of liver, or from duodenal catarrh (several cures).
Stool, Etc
► Bile deficient in the evacuations. ► Constipation alternating with diarrhoea.
Urine
► Coloring matter of bile present in the urine ; the latter is scanty, brownish and turbid.
Chill, Fever And Sweat
► Chills and fever, with above symptoms of jaundice (one marked cure).
