GAMBOGIA. [Gambog.] Gamboge. Hering. Guttiferae.

► Irritable mood.

► Vertigo during rest or motion, morning when rising. ► Heaviness in the whole head, with dulness, sleepiness and pain in the back.

► Violent burning of the eyes and photophobia, evening or afternoon, better from walking in the open air, but returning in the morning. ► Violent itching of the eyes in the evening. ► Itching at the inner canthi. ► Nightly agglutination of lids, burning in morning, photophobia through the day, and frequent stitching pain in eyes.

► Ringing in left ear all the time.

► Violent chronic sneezing. ► Dryness of the right nostril.

► Tearing in all the right molars. ► Sensation of coldness at the edge of the incisors.

► Dryness of the mouth.

► Violent stitches in the right side of the throat. ► Pain as from soreness in the throat. ► Rawness and burning in throat, causing constant hawking.

► Thirst after dinner, and especially evenings.

► After eating : 17, 19.

► Frequent violent empty eructations. ► Nausea preceding from stomach, when walking in open air. ► Nausea, inclination to vomit, accumulation of saliva in mouth. ► Frightful vomiting and purging, with fainting.

► Empty feeling in the stomach and abdomen. ► Gnawing in the stomach. ► Constant sore pain in the stomach. ► Ulcerative pain in the stomach, passing off after eating. ► Acute stitches in the stomach.

► Pinching in abdomen immediately after eating. ► Frequent severe pinching in entire abdomen without urging ; or, with diarrhoea and burning in anus, with relief of pain. ► Rumbling and rolling in the bowels. ► Inflation and tension of the abdomen, with pinching in the umbilical region.

► Profuse discharge of flatus, especially evening and nights. ► Stools : watery, slimy, undigested, without smell ; with pain in ileo-coecal region, which is sensitive to touch ; during stool bearing down and colicky pain ; prolapsus ani and cold sweat on the limbs ; copious, watery, yellow, or like curdled milk, of offensive, sickening smell, expelled forcibly ; dark green mucus, offensive and corrosive, discharged with a single somewhat prolonged effort ; great relief after stool, as though an irritating substance were removed from the bowels ; profuse, watery, with colic and tenesmus ; diarrhoea, with burning pain and tenesmus ; bloody, dysenteric. ► Hard, insufficient stool, with strong urging, pressing and protrusion of the rectum.

► Stitches in the left kidney. ► Infrequent urination.

► Leucorrhoea.

► Pressure in the middle of the chest. ► Pain in the chest as if it were all raw.

► Repeated extremely painful stitches in the sternum. ► Weight on the chest, causing sleeplessness.

► Repeated gnawing in the os coccygis.

► Pain in the shoulders. ► Stitching pains in the upper limbs, come on or are worse in evenings.

► Rest : 2. Motion : 2. Rising : 2. Walking in open air : 5, 16. ► The majority of symptoms come on while sitting, and pass off during motion in the open air.

► Sleepiness, great inclination to sleep. ► Sleep broken by anxious dreams. ► Anxious, vexatious dreams.

► The conditions are especially apt to occur toward evening or at night. ► Morning : 2, 5. Afternoon : 5. Evening : 5, 14, 20, 32, 46. Night : 5, 20, 46.

► Violent chill, beginning in the back. ► Increased heat with anxiety.

► Right : 7, 10, 13. Left : 6, 21.

► Touch : 20. Scratching : 46.

► Violent itching in various parts of the body, burning after scratching, worse evenings and nights. ► After scratching, burning and ulcerative pain, with swelling and redness of the parts, worse evening and night. ► Biting, like from ants, over the whole body, worse evening and night.
