Croup

CROUP MIX 73 30CH USAGE Chest and bronchi. These remedies work singly on croup but as a mixture they form an extremely strong combination for this dreaded condition in babies and small children. Use as a preventative for those prone to this conditions. In an acute attack, give this remedy at once in water with Aconite every five minutes until eased.

For this type of child use in conjunction with, as a preventative measure, CB 9 or Chest Tissue Salts, to strengthen the bronchi. Ferrum Phos 6X and Gunpowder 30 can be given once a day to prevent infection. The whole effect here is to keep the bronchi strong in order to prevent attacks.

BREAKDOWN Lachesis—sensation of suffocating lying down. Moonstone Blue—excellent in many throat conditions. Sambucus—spasmodic croup, worse at midnight. Child wakes up suddenly— turns blue. Cannot exhale—nearly suffocating. Spongia—constricted—coup worse during inspiration and before midnight. Breath short and panting—a plug in throat.

DOSAGE As a preventative: OD. Acute attack: Every 10 minutes.

All diabetics have an emotional problem—find it, and according to what the emotion is, give the appropriate remedy with this, e.g. Fear Balance— Depression Balance—Shock—Calming—Hysteria Balance.

BREAKDOWN Alfalfa—frequent urging to urinate. Polyuria. Increased elimination of urea and phosphates. Iris Ver—works on the pancreas.

Burning in whole of alimentary canal. Specific for diabetes. Nat Sulph—an excellent remedy—in fact a must, for diabetes. Bile in urine— brick dust sediment.

Pancreatin—this remedy balances the working of the pancreas. Pain behind diaphragm indicates this remedy. Syzygium—no other remedy causes such a marked drop in and disappearance of sugar in urine. A large quantity of urine passed.

Excellent for diabetes. Urtica—balances acid conditions of urine and body, preventing skin eruptions or helping those already appearing.
